Print Ad Specifications

We accept PDF/X-1a+ files and import them into QuarkXPress 4.1 documents.

All of our magazines are printed in four-color (CMYK) at 133lpi on web offest presses.

We accept CDs and emergency FTP transfers (call for password and details).

When designing, remember:

  • Photos should be 300dpi minimum at 100 percent.
  • All color photos should be CMYK not RGB.
  • Spot colors must be CMYK not spot.
  • Use PostScript Type 1 fonts for best quality.
  • Pull your bleeds 1/8" (0.125") over trim.
  • Send 100 percent sized laser prints with CD.
  • For optimum color accuracy, a quality proof (dye-sublimation, digital halftone, inkjet continuous-tone) and not a desktop inkjet proof, is requested.
